In the past I have had good service at Gerald Kia in North Aurora, but it has definitely been trending in the wrong direction. In this most recent visit, there was a recall service to be done in addition to a regular oil change and inspection. I was told it would be 60-75 minutes. After 1 1/2 hours, I asked if they were almost done, and I was told that they temporarily lost my paperwork and hadn't done the work yet. They promised another 20 minutes. After another hour they returned my car. I asked how the brakes looked on inspection, and this revealed that they had not done any of their typical inspection of the vehicle. I left very frustrated and made it clear. They offered to give me my oil change for free and offered the next also for free, but this doesn't help me figure out if my brakes will need work soon or give me back 90 minutes of my life.
