The service advisor has to the the rudest person I have ever encountered at a dealership. Condescending when I asked how much longer as I'd been there almost an hour and a half for an oil change. I won't go back. Have yet to hear from the dealership as I complained there as well. They had the most awesome advisor but she is in another department. I'll pay more and go to another shop.

They checked all I asked plus more and changed the oil. Great service by Matt and Charles Rainey's (an employee of Gates Toyota) referral. They did not try to take advantage of me to tell me I needed something when I did notlike the Honda dealership in Jacksonville NC, did by telling me I needed to change the transmission oil or something to do with the transmission when it only had a little over 30,000 miles on it!

Took awhile to fix seat belt recall and do an oil change. Saw a lot of younger mechanics, but I guess like everywhere else its hard to hire and keep help. Overall, have alway taken my Hondas to Gates, and will continue to do so until given a reason not to.

I do NOT recommend Gates Honda of Richmond, KY. My husband and I dealt with Bill Henderson and his associate Les. Bill bald-faced lied to us, refused to even admit there was a problem, and left us to our own devices. Instead of addressing his way of doing business, Gates Honda obviously condones it. Thankfully, we have people in our corner working to help us resolve the problems his lies have left us with.
