We usually go to Fowers for most of our auto repair and oil changes. For some reason they put the wrong oil in my car. Luckily I said "you put the right oil in, right?" Synthetic? They did not, saying I hadn't had my Oli changed there since 2014? I found my last receipt in my car that said 2024! They changed the oil to the right kind and sent me on my way. So I'm glad I said something about it before paying.

I was told at the Honda dealership that my van needed brake pads. The measurements were 2/32 in the front and 3/32 in the back. I called Fowers, who got me right in and did a brake check. All but one of the brake pads measured 8/32. The fourth needed a minor adjustment due to uneven wear. They quickly took care of the issue AT NO CHARGE TO ME.

I am a regular customer that goes routinely for the last 18 years. I dont like being upsold. They do what I ask, they dont try to sell me more. If nothings wrong, thats it and they will only recommend other service if needed. And if they do, they respect my decision without guilting me that I didnt take it. And there have been a handful of incidents they have save me money instead of telling me I need a more expensive service.
