Not happy about having to have this "recall" work done and would have had to pay for it if I didn't get the extended warranty. Cam phasers should have been covered in my opinion. I needed my ball joints replaced on a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup. They replace the lower ball joints but when they took the Hop off The hub was bad or they didn't tighten it down when they put it back together need to replace hub now they didn't say anything about the problem they checked off all the boxes that everything else was okay they wrote in brake light won't go off that was it.

I was told Diagnostic charge went towards repair when scheduled - found out not the case! Then charged for 2 diagnostics - what the?? Same machine plugged into Car computer shows all areas of concernso why 2??? The quote for repairs was outrageous and they missed diagnosed one of the problems. On positive note - service adviser and staff were very pleasant.

One word....Fantastic! This was my first time at the service department for Folsom Lake Ford. I went there because I just couldn't continue accepting the poor service I was receiving at the Ford dealership where I purchased the car. Dan and the guys at the shop are thorough professional and go the extra mile to get your vehicle back to running order. Theyre helpful to accommodate your needs and look out for your best of interest. I brought my truck in due to worn parts creating a death wobble and they were able to replace necessary parts and remedy this scary driving scenario in the time they estimated plus kept some cost down too. I highly recommend their shop.

Awesome team! Called for an appointment, they worked with to schedule the appointment around my schedule. Upon arrival an hour early they got me into the shop and out again in record time, while taking care of an additional issue at my last minute request. The service department is good. On the other side, the general manager does not work with you if you have an issue or concern related to a new vehicle purchase. Recently purchased a new car from them Has not resolved issue after her said he would do something about it.
I would recommend people go to Folsom Lake Ford for service but skip them if they are purchasing a new vehicle. Future Ford may be the place to go next time I purchase a Ford.
