I drove up to the service area because my car was making a weird noise and suddenly the battery light came on, so I was a little afraid to turn it off. They booked my car in and were able to see it the next day, replaced the alternator, and resolved all issues. Excellent speedy service and very accommodating.

My tire pressure sensor light came on. Took my Honda in to have it checked out. Sensor was fine but I had a nail in my left rear tire. Tire was repaired and I was out in a short period of time. What was impressive was I drove the car in with no appointment.
Service and professionalism is hard to beat.

I was pleased that the service department took my concerns seriously and did a thorough check on my car to find the issue. They needed to keep my car for a few days to trace the problem, and were very accommodating by providing me loaner car. Great service!

I went in for my 9:30 appointment for an oil change. They said it would be busy and not recommend I wait for it. They said it would ready by noon. I left and came back around 12:30 only to find out they gave me a new window of 2:15-2:45. My car was ready @ 4:30. I basically waited in the waiting room for most of the time.

I assume the actual service work (recall for fuel pump) was done property as there are no issues.
The only reason I would not recommend auto service at El Cerrito Honda to friends is the very excessive rates for services that are both inexpensive for parts and quick to install.

Since I brought my car in to have a recalled part replaced, it was a very long wait (7 hrs) BUT I was warned when I made the appointment so I was prepared. I asked to have some things checked, and I was really happy that they took care of them. And the cherry on top was returning to a washed car :)

Way too many follow-up emails after having my car serviced. The service was great, end of story. Why the 12 emails asking me how it went and reminding me of other services and deals, and the next check-up, and to 'like' the company etc. I'm feeling haunted.

I brought my 2016 Accord Sport in for a brake job. The service advisor Guillermo checked my car in quickly and I was off to work. Even though they were very short staffed my car was finished when I needed it with brand new brakes. As always Honda of El Cerrito provided excellent service, that is why I continue to use them.

I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for a (inspection fee $275 ) I understand this if you decide not to do the work at this service shop , but this fee $275 wouldn't go towards the work if you chose to do he work with them ,

I had an appointment set to come drive and buy the car. I was called the night before and told it wouldn't be ready for 3 more days. The next day I noticed the car was off of CARFAX. I called the dealership and was told it was sold the night before. The salesperson I was dealing with was very dishonest. Almost made me step away from Hondas entirely found one at another company and purchased!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EL CERRITO HONDA!!!

Received excellent service from Guillermo Rivas. He notified us in advance of the services provided, gave us an anccurate estimate and left both a voicemail and email when car was ready for pickup. He also ordered the door handle replacement which we paid for in advance and told us we would be notified when part was delivered. We haven't always received this degree of efficiency and courtesy at EC Honda but Guillermo is exceptional!

The service was ok, but time it took was not good. I was told the service would be done by 2:00, with a 10:00 appointment. It was not done until 3:30. So, it took 51/2 hours to ccmplete. I do not think so. It would be nice to get an honest answer. I think they did not start to work on my car till about 2:00

The staff is patient and polite. My English is not good. He will patiently translate it for me so that I can understand what he said. Because of the long waiting time, he will arrange for the driver to take me home, and then arrange for the driver to pick me up after the maintenance, which is very good.

I was told by the dealer who sold me the car that I had 100,000 mine warranty. I didn't find out to the very end after paying that the warranty was up at 60,000 miles and that's how many miles I had on my car I had questions and could not find him for answers. It was not a good experience.

It was expensive. A faulty ABS modulator would have costs $3000.00 to buy and install. The service advisor was very kind. The mechanic left one more light on my console than the modulator did when I dropped it off. I had to leave my car overnight because a part was needed.
