The air conditioner needed charged, which is the first time I ever needed that. I bought the car new at Don Carlton in October 2025, as I recall. When I picked up the vehicle on a Saturday I was told the A/C coolant was the incorrect coolant, but it wasn't the normal service person, Lance. I called on Monday asking for an explanation and my call was never returned. The A/C now works fine, but I never got my question answered.

I brought running car in to have some error messages checked .Don Carlton upgraded the software, said everything is fine ($600.00) and sent me on my way. Ten miles later all the error messages are back. I returned to the Don Carlton shop. They rechecked and recommended a $1600 fix. I declined. Driving the car home it cut power to only 25 mph, a safety feature of the upgraded program.

Got me in and out quickly although I wasn't in a hurry. Anthony explained what service needed done and afterwards what they had done. Also went over the 30 point inspection they do every time. The cashier was also very personable. I've been going there for fifteen years and they have great staff at Don Carlton.

I paid a lot of money to also have my brake fluid and engine coolant changed. I thought when they did a service they would top off the windshield wiper fluid. Yesterday I learned they don't or didn't do that. Kinda disappointing, I think thats something they should also do when you get a full service.

Excellent service. Oil change cost similar to other non brand but receive or inspections including checking not only tires, but alignment with report on whether an alignment is required. Also checks and fills all fluids at no additional charges also checks windshield wiper blades for wear and if needed to be replaced is less expensive than buying from auto parts store.

The only negative thing is how long it takes to get anything done. I always show up at 6:30 am so I can be the first or second person there, but it still takes a minimum of two hours for anything. I trust the service department, just wish I could make an appt (it says on the website that I can, but it's still first come, first serve), and could get a loaner car if it's going to take over an hour.

I went in for a very small service issue . . . the rear window wiper blade was leaving a streak! So, the service technician said that he could have someone replace the wiper blade for me, and that it would only take about 15 minutes! And that was exactly the perfect solution to the problem!

It was a long wait but they had coffee and snacks and comfortable waiting room. Went in for oil change and they fixed the recall issue as well. (Tried to set that up but part wasn't available when I tried to make the appointment). So that was a happy surprise!

Being able to drop in for an oil change is very convenient. The pricing was better than the local oil change places and they keep an eye on the other check points. The suggested services seem appropriate for the maintenance schedule. My Service Adviser this time was Steven Sanchez - he was helpful answering questions not service related and directed me to the parts counter. I recommend Don Carlton.
