The staff was friendly. My 11 month old car had a blurred back up camera, since id taken it in for inspection at 10 months old. It came out with a broken camera. I had an idiot light come on for the 1st time, which i thought meant my trunk was open. I waited for service and at no point did anyone, in a 3 1/2 hour wait, come to discuss what was going on. Upon check out, by reading the bill the dealership had done an all points inspection. Much appreciated, but I thought they did that for inspection a month ago. I get in the car, and the idiot light was still on, unresolved. I marched back in upset because thats why I brought it in hadn't been resolved. A mechanic, Brian? Was kind to come out & take a look at my dashboard. He went back into the garage and came out 5 mins later saying as long as the light is white, its informational. He couldnt tell me what's it informing me of, but said if it turned another color, bring the car back. The idiot light was also not in the car book that came with the car. Brian said that there may have been a software update that activated that light after 10 months. Can my car be updated without me knowing? The dealership people are very kind and patient, but had someone come and talked to me, perhaps we could have saved a few hours of time.
