Called to make sure there was warranty left on my truck, and there is. Took my 2017 in for service due to a leaking EGR cooler, which I told the service guy what was wrong. He wrote it up leaking coolant at egr cooler, then they kept it for a couple hours, called and said emissions is only covered for 30,000 so it will be an $1800.00 repair. Knowing this is an inflated number, I picked up the truck and they still charged me a service fee for telling me that the egr was leaking. Number 1 they could have told me up front if it were emissions it was not covered, and number 2 why should'nt they pay me since I had already told them what was wrong. End of story I ordered the parts and fixed it myself for $650.00, nearly two thirds less than quoted.
