Covington, La location. Let me start out by saying don't be fooled by the name. I called to schedule an appointment on a Monday and got an appointment scheduled the next day for 7am. I explained to the person on the phone that I need to use the shuttle service to be taken to and from work. When I arrived at my appointment time, no record of me making an appointment. So they were able to service me and bring me to work. I asked the driver again are they able to come pick me up, he response was yes. I received a call at 1pm stating they are working on my car but it needs a diagnostic test. (Short version of what's going on, break light, abs light, traction, and power steering light flashes on and off after I left a car wash) No I'm not a mechanic but you would think that you would check to see that maybe the sensor was loose or something. So I agreed to the diagnostic test. The employee said they would call me in a couple of hours for an update, 2 hours later, no phone call. I call them at 3:30 to get an update, they don't have one for me. I asked will they be able to come pick me up at 4:30 from my job (2 miles away) or do I need to get a ride, the answer was yes they will come to get me and they will call me shortly with an update. 4:30 is here, no one is here to pick me up, 4:45 no one is here to pick me up. I called my friend to come pick me up and bring me to get my car. I get there and the car that dropped me off is still sitting in the parking lot. I go inside and everyone is just standing around. I said I was waiting for you all to come pick me up, the employee says "oh we were supposed to come pick you up?" I said yes I asked you when you dropped me off and your response was yes and I also called at 3:30 to remind you. He apologizes and that's it. He tells me that his co-worker is going to explain what's going on with my car. Before he goes into detail I asked them is my car ready so I can tell my friend that I'm good and she can leave. He said yes, I go outside to tell me friend she can leave. I come back in and a 3rd employee tells me that they "changed my oil as a courtesy because they didn't come to pick me up." Which that was a straight up lie because according to your co-worker, you all had no idea that I needed to be picked up so you changed my oil within the 45 seconds it took me to walk outside and back inside! (No sticker in the windshield to show that it was changed, and I checked my oil and it had not been changed) So the employee goes over everything but the problem I came in for. One particular thing was I needed a new battery and a few other things that is minor but made out to be so huge. He's pushing me to make an appointment to get these things done. I made an appointment to get only one thing on the list to get done, that according to him "may or may not fix my problem." I went to get a second opinion and come to find out that I don't need a new battery and the other things were very minor. I called to cancel the appointment. I'm upset because I feel like they tried to get over on me because I'm a woman. I don't like lies and we work to hard for someone or a business to take advantage and try to get over on people. I pray that the evilness and deceitfulness of this world would get better sooner than later.
