The only thing I don't like is that CARFAX doesn't document WHAT was done to the car only that SOMETHING was done to the car. This is really big deal in my opinion, because there was a significant problem (fixed for free, thankfully) that is not documented as a such.

I only have to get service once a year because low annual mileage but they call to remind me when it's time for service. They pick up my car and return it when it's done. They check everything over along with the oil and fluids. Replace wipers if needed and rotate my tires. The staff are very courteous and they send you a text with a link to check on how things are going.

Not happy with service,problem persist,I think mybe part replace was not necessary,I have been told the problem,is not serious enough,but may lay in the fact front wheels are not tracking in the system to handle more rotations when turning wheels in front .as compared to rear wheels turn less. .

I liked the fact that Carlos kept me updated every day by text. He always tells it to me straight, what I need and don't need, and lets me decide. I bought the car there in 2003, got free oil and filter changes for as long as I own the car, and I trust them.

My Forrester had an issue with the TPS monitoring system and the key fob receiver computer they were able to diagnose it and replace it very quickly! And they gave me a loaner car to drive while they were waiting for the parts to come in! My experience in service with Joe Friesen and Carlos Villanueva was amazing

Charged me $50 to pump up my tires because the low tire pressure indicator was on. Supposedly for diagnostics. This is a first class rip off. Tried to change me $120 to re-sent the lift gate system after the battery died. This after promising there would be no charge for a simple re-sent. Deleted the charge only after I questioned it.

We were quoted two different things. My husband even confirmed that one price was the total with a staff member, but turns out when we checked out that was incorrect. The man who finally checked me out was very helpful though. But didn't like the lack of transparency and clarity around the total price we paid.

This service should not have taken the entire day. I was there at 9AM and they did not have my car ready until 6pm. I had to pressure them to get it finished as they wanted me to come back the next morning to return the loaner car and get mine. That would have put me into the morning rush hour and conflicted with a medical appointment.

The first scheduled experience had to be cancelled because the loaner car ordered was not available. Rescheduled appointment and car was to be ready on the same day but wasn't until 6 days later, I think. Because I had a loaner car it was ok. Everyone was nice and ultimately the car was well serviced.

They're always very helpful. They always have a free car to drive while your car is being worked on. They communicate with you. There's never any unexpected charges and they have a very detailed online site that gives you all the information you need about the work before and after it's done.

I thought that when I went in for service they would at least attempt to fix the loose trim on the front fender. No way. the representative,when I paid the bill, said that they don't carry the material. She suggested trying an auto euipment store to buy,and possibly help me..In the end, my son bought strong glue and fixed the trim for me. Poor public relations by Carter!

Overall not great the service tech said that the oil reminded had been reset but I had to do it myself so it makes me wonder if he did everything he said he did if he overlooked that and didn't find obvious things on the inspection like cv joints and left my engine air filter cover loose

Making an appointment was easy. Service Rep was professional and friendly. Work was completed within time I was told. I asked to have the PCV checked and replaced, if needed. Even though that work usually requires a separate appointment, it was done during my oil change/etc. appointment. Very much appreciated their cooperation.

Maintenance and repairs are really expensive anywhere these days. So having the trusted dealership where I bought my car do the maintenance gives me the assurance that it will be done correctly and is guaranteed. The fact that they also provided a free loaner car is a plus that shows they care about their customers.

I was to receive repairs on my transmission seal and pump taking 1 to 2 days to complete, and it was quoted to cost 852.00. Instead the staff took a week to get my car done and in the process they broke my axle and the connection parts, and I was charged 2235.00 for their incompetence. I will never have my car serviced there again.

Service desk was friendly and helpful. Two stars because the service dept did a quick not thorough inspection finding the complete problem with the car. We drove it home to the Subaru dealer close to our house. Upon inspection of the same problem there was another issue related to the problem that Carter did not detect. Therefore, we felt the $200.00 we paid to find the problem was wasted.

I have had all my the service on my 2017 Forester done at Carter Subaru. I always have confidence that they will do a quality job and appreciate the loaner cars. This time I misunderstood something in the quote and the service manager went above and beyond what I ever would have expected to work with Subaru and the dealership to come up with a solution. I was incredibly impressed and grateful. Would recommend highly.
