The sales person was terrible
I drove all the out to see the lexus rx400 and he didn't evan let me drive the truck. He didn't know any thing about the truck, he qe userly don't sell hybrid so I don't know anything about them. He told me if want set appointment to drive it call him back.

The rest drive was fine but after I left the lot on way home on high at 60 mph when I pressed the brakes front end was shaking the volt gauge dropped not charging no key found for the wheel locks I called the dealer asked about it said take it to a tire shop to get them off it will cost you I asked when the cars come in how did you check the brakes if you can't get the wheels off (oh we don't check them we just scan for codes I took it today to AutoZone to check the battery that and the alternator and regulator are showing good so there is something wrong with the charging system I would not recommend buying a car from here because I just spent $7800 for a lemon!!!!

Michael, we are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the vehicle you purchased. I would like to clarify a few things and offer to help you get your issues resolved. When you called us and spoke with your salesman Jim the only issue that was brought to his attention was the wheel lock not being in the vehicle. Since you do not live in close to our location we suggested an alternative to bringing the vehicle back here, which was having a tire shop near you assist with the lock. You were also informed that we do visually inspect the brake pads and rotors along with an extensive road test to ensure they are up to par. Again you never mentioned the brake issues or battery/charging system behavior that you described in your review. While the people at AutoZone I am sure are skilled at their job, they are not licensed mechanics. If you would like to have the vehicle checked out by one of the local mechanics that we use, please give us a call. We would be more than happy to help.

James, sorry that you had a negative experience at Bose Motors. When you came in to view our vehicle the a/c was not working properly. We were not able to get it into our mechanic due to the holiday week. The customer who ended up purchasing it was offered the same discount on the vehicle that we offered to you and agreed that it was a fair compromise. We did not promise to hold the vehicle nor contact you if the vehicle was sold. Sorry that you missed out on this vehicle, we ask that you reconsider the 2 star review and let us make it up to you on another vehicle.

There was alot more deferred maintenance on this vehicle than i could have guessed. The fact that this vehicle has any carfax history was a false sense of security.
Dealing with Jim at Bose motors was a below average experience. I expect a degree of deniability from used car salespeople, but Jim took it too far when he initially deceived be regarding the cost of replacing the headlights when he showed me, on his computer, the replacement cost of $165 when it turned out to be very common knowledge that these specific headlights cost between $1000 and $1400. And both need replacing, not just one as he stated, since there is very clearly water inside both units. Time will only tell what else Jim and Bose motors intentionally deceived me about.
Not worth trusting Bose motors or carfax.

Thanks for your feedback. However, you are leaving out critical information regarding your purchase. Prior to your arrival you were informed that the headlight was not working. You were also given the opportunity to wait until we got the issue diagnosed at a mechanic before you made the drive up to our dealership. No one here deceived you. In fact, we went out of our way to give you this information and further discounted the price to accommodate the repair. You can purchase two replacement headlights for a fraction of the price that you were quoted in your review. Please give us a call and we can send you several links all with positive consumer reviews for aftermarket headlights for this particular vehicle.
