Bartuning is the top of my list when it comes to my 2016 VW Touareg! No dealership takes the time and care to produce quality work AND at a fraction of the costs. An oil leak at the oil cooler was three times the cost quote from the dealership to repair! AND, after making four trips to the dealership to adjust and standardize aiming my headlights, Bartuning did it free of charge! All my bets are on Bartuning!

It's not their fault that that cost was roughly double the vehicle's current value.
The auto recycling firm will pay me roughly the same amount that the assessment cost.

Another great experience. Mike and his team at Bar Tuning have done nearly all of the service work on my 2014 Audi A-6 since I purchased it new. Service this trip included engine oil and filter, air filter, brake rotors, pads and sensors, and reattaching rear view mirror.

During the life of my vehicle ownership at 137,465 miles, -Bartuning, Inc, "pulled the rabbit out of the hat" clearing a badly plugged DPF and successfully regenerating the filter to an adequate specification. Do not recommend! After careful reviews we choose them based on what they were selling. Come to find, they are smoke and mirrors and unwilling to serve the customer. Oil and coolant leak was the reason for our need. $5k quote seemed unreasonable but they sold us on it being an Audi... that's normal, but worth it in longevity of a good vehicle. Upon completion of work, it still leaked fluid, nothing was ever right. They performed minimal efforts to resolve issue and made lots of excuses. These people are slick and on top of their game. This was the 3rd visit for a coolant leak and other repairs that should have been under their shop warranty. Never could get it right. We drove the car to them and the cost they quoted (another $5k) to fix what should be their warranty work and was much higher than other foreign car repair shops. We had to pay for a wrecker to deliver the car to another shop because it was supposedly not drivable (however I drove it there) then we decided not to let them do the work at their price. Feel extremely taken and disappointed.

We offer an industry leading warranty, likely the best in Houston (3 year unlimited mileage on parts and labor) however it only covers parts that we sell.
When you visited our shop the first time in December 2022 your repair covered many things including emission repairs, services, engine repairs, and testing.
At the time of your first visit (December 2022) your Audi Q5 was 8 years old and had 121,139 miles. The main concern you had was your vehicle was leaking coolant and oil externally. We discovered that the original gaskets which seal your exhaust gas cooler unit to the engine were leaking and filling the engine intake valley with oil and coolant. This is a common repair because the plastic parts warp with age and mileage causing leaks.
During your visit in April 2025, we discovered that your original engine exhaust gas cooler unit had failed internally and was severely leaking engine coolant into your intake manifold! This is not a common failure. The mileage on your car at this time was 150,117 which was 28,978 miles after your first visit.
When we called you to let you know the issue we discovered, you told us that we should warranty the repair. We would have gladly warrantied the part if we had installed a new one on your car but unfortunately we cannot warranty an original 10 year old original Audi part.
We offered you a discount of more than $1000 to help with this unfortunate unexpected car repair and you declined the repair. We then advised you that it was not safe to operate the engine because coolant does not compress and could result in a hydro lock and further damage your engine.
You towed the Audi away declining any repair service.
