Auto Tek is always great! They are my go-to here in Austin. They forgot to do part of the service they charged me for, and immediately called to let me know, so I could bring the car back. This shows the integrity with which they work. They could have easily not said anything and I would not have known.

They are very good a diagnosing problems. I had a strange squeaking sound coming from the center of my truck, which only occurred at speeds above 20 mph. It was diagnosed to be a bad bearing on my two piece drive shaft. They fixed it at a reasonable price.

I drive my cars until the wheels fall off, so I need to keep them well maintained for their full life cycle. My car has 137,000 miles and still runs like a champ thanks to Auto Tek!

It was not a good experience and only one item was done. My battery was fine, but I asked if there was an issue can I bring one there and they said no that I could not change it on their premises since it's not there's. I understand wanting to upsell someone but I mean this was ridiculous after a long days work. Just overall not helpful at all.

Hey Nate. My suggestion to you was that you have the battery replaced by the folks you bought the battery from, because the will generally do that for free for you. As far as you working on your vehicle in our parking lot, there are major insurance liabilities with that, which I'm sure you can appreciate. I could care less if you replace your own battery, but I cannot put ourselves as risk of liability if you hurt yourself in the process. There are so many "sue-happy" people these days, and so it has forced all businesses to have to take extra precautions. It didn't used to be that way, but times have definitely changed. You and I spoke a few weeks ago when you left us a review on another platform, and I really thought that we worked through your concerns, so I am sorry that this is still eating at you. If there is anything that we can do to make you feel better about this situation, or that I can explain to you again, I would love to do so. I hate that you're so frustrated over something that is simply out of our control. There were, of course, other things that frustrated you, like the fact that your tires cannot be rotated because they are offset. I even agreed with you that perhaps we could have communicated things a bit better with you. We had you set up for an oil change only, which goes through our maintenance division. On the counter, you requested multiple other services to be performed, including check engine light diagnostics. As I explained during our phone conversation, we were already booked solid for the week, and I couldn't guarantee it being checked out. Your frustration was that you were able to leave it for however long we needed it to work it through, and that was our misunderstanding. Again, I hope this helps you to work through your frustration, and I hope you're able to find a great shop that can take good care of you and your vehicle. I'm really sorry that we're no longer those guys for you. I wish you all the best!

Auto Tek was very professional. After doing a very thorough inspection on the vehicle, I received very detailed feedback on all issues that needed attention. I chose to only have the brakes serviced at this time. In the future, I will monitor the other issues that were brought to my attention that may need future repairs with Auto Tek. I am very satisfied with the level of communication as well as services performed.

5 stars service, 3 stars for the communication, the advisor, Brian, didnt call me till 4pm, they close at 5pm. So I have to call them, I called in 4pm, been informed that will be called back in a few mins, and no call back till 4:45pm, so I had to call them again, wait for like 5 mins on the line, rather than hangup and getting a call back, with that finally got an update.
