Absolute best car buying experience from start to finish. I asked if the truck had a towing package and was sent a personalized video from the used car manager Greg. Seemed like there was miscommunication among the staff this visit, starting with Jacob who scheduled my service for 8AM on a weekday, but did not make me aware this was just the time to drop off my car. I was under the assumption it would be assessed by the technicians at that time, and then receive a call with the estimate having only one day without my vehicle. Unfortunately, I had to initiate a call to the service desk to inquire and at 4pm, was told the technician was writing up the assessment presently, and call back. I did communicate with Jason when he called back to review the estimate and I did let him know my frustration of having what I thought to be a scheduled 8AM appt and confused as to why i hadn't received a call with the estimate early in the day so they could do same day repairs and have the car back to me. Although he was very calm and kind and told me he would make sure the car was completed by the following morning, it was not. Again I had to initiate a call to the service desk at1:30 PM and was told my car is all set and ready to be picked up. What would the outcome be if I didn't call? Upon my arrival,
To pick up my car. Employees were paged 2x to come get keys to bring my car out. When asked where they were, a third employee responded "out in front sunbathing" maybe, a better choice of words is I'm happy to go get the car for you and help out for the good of the team as there were a couple more customers lined up to pick up cars and check out as well. Yes, it may not be your job, but be a team player and then circle back with your co workers later, privately to communicate your frustration with the situation. I've had exceptional service prior with Armen which is why I continue to be a customer, however I was really disappointed with the level of customer service I saw this timeDo Better!
I understand how a repair shop can run into hiccups but in customer service it's not a great look to not follow up if you said you were going to do something specific. things happen and yes, it's acceptable to take accountability and make the customer aware of delays or set backs. Likely they'll appreciate the communication.
