Warranty paid almost $4500 to replace my transmission. The shop wants addition $2560 to release my vehicle to me. I feel that the cost is way too high. I'm still trying to come up with the money to get my vehicle back.

My name is Thomas Goodwin. Mr. Brad and his team installed a Transmission in my 2021 Ram Promaster 3500 commercial van. After around a month an a half I heard a noise which I believe was coming from the Transmission according to experts. I returned my commercial van back to Brad and his team and explained the problem, Brad and his team completed repairs 100%. I am convinced that Brad and his team is honest and they work in an ethical manner while upholding integrity. Based on my experience, I recommend anyone who needs his/her Transmission repaired to talk to Brad. Brad is easy to talk to and is very understanding and knowledgeable.

Took my vehicle in for a follow-up appointment on our transmission rebuild. Was told that there were many other issues that needed serviced, included parts that should have been handled under the original rebuild time. Got far more services completed and vehicle is running much better. Had to come back for a repair that wasn't completed properly the first time. Was told a part had to be repaired (that didn't need to be), later proven. I feel like we were lied to and made to spend more money than we should have. Shop manager caught in a lie as I was doing my own research. Could have been taken to the cleaners financially if I had not researched the problem out and insisted on a repair of the original transmission rebuild. I do not trust them anymore and will be hesitant to return to this shop again. I will also be contacting corporate over the dishonesty and treatment I received when we have already paid them a ton of money to repair our vehicle the right way the first time in October of 2024.

Took my vehicle 10/31 and dropped it off for service on 11/1. I had an 8:30 am appointment for a diagnostic I called the shop around 10am to check on the results only to be told the technician hadnt started on my vehicle yet. I continued to cal for the next two days and got no real information on Wednesday 11/3 the technician advised me that I had a problem with my purge valve and that he would be calling my warranty company to start a claim and repair my vehicle. I called silver rock my warranty company and they said the technician never called. So Thursday 11/4 comes around the technician calls me and says that my warranty company denied the claim I contacted my warranty company to verify the information and to see if they could approve the claim and they did. I called aamco back and the technician states that my warranty company is still not approving even after i verified that they did and that I should take the car to Mini Cooper instead. I let him know that I verified with the warranty to company that my claim had been approved and that he could fix the car. He never called and I ended up picking up my car and taking it to Mini . I only went to this repair shop bc it was an in network repair facility. Mini fixed my vehicle in one day and this shop took 4 days just to tell me that they wouldnt fix it.
