The 2016 Ram ProMaster City is a compact commercial van that can seat up to five people or hold up to 131.7 cubic feet of total cargo. It’s meant for drivers who want a small commercial van that’s easy to drive, fuel efficient, and has a large cargo area. The ProMaster City has one of the larger cargo areas in the segment, which allows drivers who have a business to take equipment and supplies on the go. When properly equipped, this van also has a towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,883 pounds, which are great figures for the class.

The ProMaster City separates itself from the pack with high payload and towing capacities, a large cargo area, efficient engine, and highly maneuverable size. Keep in mind, though, it trails key rivals when it comes to seating capacity, available safety features, engine performance, and configurations. The ProMaster City is only available in two models and two trims, which is a limited number of configurations for a commercial van. And while it has seating for up to five, some of its competitors can seat up to seven. Some of the ProMaster City’s competitors are also available with more advanced safety and tech features.
