The person who help us was very friendly and nice. And the situation was taken care of, and communications was great. I am still very upset with his shop because I had several "very bad interations with not only the supposed mgr of the parts/service dept but several of their staff. Happened severak years ago. One of the reasons I will not bring my car in for regular maintance to you.

Kevin was great! My appointment was with Subaru service, but the address on the confirmation e-mail was for the Toyota service location. Kevin explained that it's the same company and he was able to transfer my appointment so I wouldn't have to relocate. He was friendly and professional, and the service went smoothly.

Quick service. Nice, prompt and thorough customer service representative. I like the video tour of the car and the proposal of additional issues to be addressed. I did not like the cost of the battery replacement proposed (>$800), that seemed very high, and unlike the normally reasonable pricing I normally get from. Subaru.

Grossly overpriced for what should have been a fairly minor service. We will never be taking our car back to this dealership service center. No followup was received from the service department, probably because they know they are ripping their customers off and the feedback would be bad.

I'm always happy with the service at Oakland Subaru. The specialist is so professional and responds to all my questions, she deserves a raise! Also, with the renovations the space looks great and it's comfortable to wait there and read a book as I wait for the service to be done.

Service Advisor - Roman Rios I appreciated my Service Advisor's attentiveness to my Vehicle Service on 9/20/2025. He listened to my request and promptly and efficiently took care of my vehicle. He told me my vehicle would be done by noon and I received a call at around noon. He also gave me recommendations for my next service appointment. It's not everyday where you would receive this type of excellent service. Thank You.

Oakland never responded to my inquiries! I asked a few questions about the GR86 to see if it had the options and stock items I desired. I didn't want to drive all the way to downtown Oakland to test drive a car that didn't have the options I desired. No responses to those questions.

Was told two of my tires were down to 2 and thus could not perform the rotation a requested. They then tried to sell me on the tire deal they currently have for the summer. Checked at home and tires are low, but none of them at 2. They lied to me and have not responded to my requests for a refund or even a conversation to explain what happened. Do not take your car to Subaru Oakland.

Aside for the long line of cars to be checked in, the service manager Roman was pleasant and efficient and understood my concerns. The work needed was done timely. Roman explained the additional service recommendations and as a result, the car is driving more smoothly.

Friendly, prompt service. Pressured to upgrade service for unclear reasons. (Eg I was told I missed my 30,000 mile service but the only way they could do the missing parts of that service was to buy the upgraded service rather than just pay for the basic 30,000 mile service). Make sure you come in well informed about what you actually need.

The "new" tires delivered were more than two years old, with a manufacture date of 0823, which means the tires were made between February 20-26, 2023. I immediately canceled my appointment for April 4, 2025 and left. NO WORK WAS PERFORMED BY OAKLAND SUBARU.

We had a very positive experience with both our sales person (Isaiah) and the GM (Jon) from Fairfield. Process was pretty straight forward and clear (very important to us). We needed a little time to decide and Carmax was very patient and helpful throughout! We were first time buyers with Carmax - and this experience would encourage us to consider/use Carmax again if the future! Wife is very happy with the preowned Prius we purchased!

Their recommended service does not align with what is in the toyota manual. They recommend many extra services that are not necessary and their pricing is off the charts high. I recommend avoiding this dealership because they seem to hoping to take advantage of people who don't know any better. Services recommended included "arctic blast" AC supplement for a vehicle with 30k miles.

Representative continues to always try to sell you on services and repairs that are unnecessary and not recommended based on Subaru's owners manual. I would never reccomend doing any actual work with this shop unless you are under warranty but even then I would go to any of the other Subaru dealerships. I only go here for basic maintenance for its convenience.
