Ray has been great to work with, they take excellent pictures of the cars and Jesus did a video call to walk me through all of the features of the car. They're very professional, very courteous and treat the customer very well. They also seem to source the best versions of the cars, so they're usually a little special. I highly recommend Zone Motors.

They ran three hard enquires on me when I expressed to him there was no need after checking TransUnion and seeing my score was well over 800, he still processed to have two more hard enquires done which of course is not good when it comes to credit scores.

I contacted them to let them know the truck they had pictured was not a Pathfinder but a Xterra. Two very different trucks from Nissan. I owned a Pathfinder for 6 years. The look and the mechanics are different. The Xterra was discontinued a few years ago. They did not believe me. Zone Motors needs to do better research before they list a car.

Slow response time from sales force, highly qualified buyer, missed vehicle. Still in the market as a result.

Ray was a good guy. The truck didn't have an owners manual though

Thank you Carfax that requested the experience to be rated. Ray was easy to communicate and responded to email quickly. We agreed upon a contract on blue 2012 Volks Eos and was excited and ready to purchase. Ray was nice and saved car until l returned from a trip. When discussing used car extended warranty, Ray had lied about coverage and options to cover convertible top and said it wasn't an option. Contacted Freedom warranty company, they verified convertible top was available to be covered for $500. After being lied too, I wondered what else was not disclosed about with the vehicle. I decided pay for a used car inscpection Volkswagon dealership where they disclosed convertible top was zip tied together to operate and would be unsafe if opened and zip tie broke. Car also had engine oil leaks at seal as well as additional problems and codes stored in the computer. The issue wasn't the car, the price, or even the hidden problems with car, it was the blantant lie and just lost my trust. I wish we could have done business. I do like the car fax reports.

I was in the market for a used Saab 97-x 4.2i for my new daily driver, as Im about to start college this fall. A month ago i contacted Zone motors and the sales man assured me there would be no problems and it would pass an inspection. I called twice a week for a month too assure this deal. I would have to drive four hours from Indiana to Chicago, but it was worth it, at least i thought so. I had the loan approved and the down payment in my pocket. But then they so kindly dropped the price by a thousand. I called Roy and Walley, asking why the price dropped and to see if there was anything wrong with the merchandise, they said everything was fine and asked if i was still interested. I was, but I told them that I would have to wait another week until I got time off work too drive up there, yea sure no problem they said(saab9-7x4.2i). So finally a week passed by, I got the new loan and the new down payment swapped shift with a co-worker. My mom drives me to Chicago around, 8-am, we get there around 12-pm. I walk up to the dealership, I get invited into the office, Walley is MIA(missing in action) someone I never met before is handling my business(Gabrielle). I soon get the keys to the saab 9-7-x 4.2i. I get in the vehicle and its on empty, keep in mind I have been planning this for a month. I put 17 dollars into the gas tank. Now Im heading over to the gmc dealership to have my vehicle inspected. After an hour they give us the report and sent us off. But wait,my mother and I exclaim, How much to fix the Saab? How much for the repairs? We wait another hour and we get the price and call walley/roy. We tell him how much and he said to bring back the vehicle and we'll talk. That's exactly what we do. We get to his office and show him the red critical flags that GMC had marked up. Over two thousand dollars of red flagged issues. Roy/ray said all used vehicles need work. My mom said yes. In a very understanding voice. But then she said not like this, not with red flags. This is unsafe and unable to drive four hours to Indiana, let alone the price. She asked if he inspects any of his vehicles before he purchases them?? Ray said The GMC dealership is trying to steal from ME! Ray said GMC dealership is Lying! There out to get my money! My mom asked, what are you going to do to fix the problem? He said he doesn't know. My mom now asked again what are you going to do, Im trying to work with you she said. He said Ill fix it my self. But you didn't catch the problems in the first place. How are you going to be able to fix what you couldn't identify in the first place??? My mom worded to him. She wanted the GMC dealership to fix the saab, he said no. Ill give you five hundred dollars and thats it. He didnt want to help with the 2000 dollar repairs. Im sorry we couldn't do business with you. were the last words my mother said. She walked out the door. As Roy (management) walked away I said Im writing a review on car fax. He yelled from the other room outside of the main office, THANK YOU!!!. He was very sarcastic, deceitful and wasted my time. Money wasn't the problem( my parents are multi millionaires ;) ), it was the principle. And the principle was he wouldn't stop lying as we were doing business. This was bad business. As I walked out the door my mother said if he would have offered to go halvies on the repair I would have purchased the saab. But he would not do fair business. Not to mention he discredited a GMC dealership. I'm conflicted because if he would have fixed the saab in the first place i could have gotten the proper loan for the proper price. How was I suppose to know i needed over two grand out of pocket cash to fix a car ive never seen before. I'm just a 21 year old kid. I still see the world as a good place. But today I learned something about the truth of a mans voice. This whole Carfax report was not of hate or spite, but the truth, and my experiences at zone-motors today. The truth, was that Zone Motors Made my mom cry.
Sincerely- liam
