I had a disappointing experience with this mechanic. They told me that my rotors and brake pads were in terrible condition and needed immediate replacement. However, I got a second opinion from another mechanic who confirmed that both were in great shape. It felt like an attempt to take advantage of me.

I went in with a water leak and they checked everything thoroughly and diagnosed the problem quickly. They obtained the parts and performed the repair in a timely manner and even gave me a loaner so I wouldn't have to wait around the shop. And the price was very reasonable! Tuffy Huntersville has a great staff that are very professional, personable and friendly. It's like going to see the cousins you like!

When replacing my catalytic converter they damaged the other converter. When I mentoned it, they denied it. Since my daughter drove the car back to school she had it repaired and cost me more. Tuffy refused to pay for the repairs. The manager said the owner would contact me. He never did after multiple calls to the shop. Tuffy lost me as a customer

They did a quick job and fixed a small issue I had with my filler tube for my washer fluid. Although they did tell me my brakes pads were getting close to needing to be replaced. Not a problem except the told me it was the rear brakes that I just changed less than ten thousand miles ago. They told me the front pads looked almost new. They had about forty thousand miles on them. Didn't add up.

The service was great as usual. As a bonus, I was informed that a tire I had replaced under warranty from another store was the wrong size and I needed to get it replaced. Not many techs would have noticed that and brought it to my attention. That's the Tuffy difference!!!!
