The product specialist was great; he was very transparent and up front and the communication was great. I didn't give them 5 stars because the advertised price was only if I financed through them. But they couldn't match my bank's APR so I couldn't buy the care (their APR was too high). Very sad because I really wanted that car.

They are very dishonest the pricing they show online is not accurate. This is a base price, they say they are no haggle, but when you go to make an offer they show you a price that has the published online price PLUS ACCESSORIES which is another 10%. Totally misleading and dishonest. And so is the no-haggle statement.

Freddy responded right away and scheduled appointment. I purchased another car from the inventory and have been very happy with service. After we settled on deal we noticed a chip in windshield and without hesitation they replaced the windshield the following day. Two days after getting car home noticed plug in front tire. FALSE ADVERTISING! The CARFAx advertised price is NOT the price they will sell the car at. They mark it deceptively low to lure you in and then pressure you into paying an additional and significant fee. Here is what happened to me. I was ready to buy a car at $15,000 at Southern California Preowned as advertised on CARFAx and then when it came time to "look at the numbers" with the salesman there was an additional $1,395 "dealer" fee tacked on. I asked what this was for and they said, that's our profit. This is their trick. When I told the salesman I was not going to pay above what they advertised the car for, they put the pressure on and started negotiating the on addtitional dealer fee. The salesman crossed out the number 1 in front of $1,395 (making it $395) and said, "what if I can get my manager to accept this as an offer." I held firm thinking who in their right mind pays more for something over the advertised price? Then the owner, George comes out and says, "I'm going to give it to you straight. The lowest I will go on the fee is $695, take it or leave it." I left it and they let me walk. For most people I suppose they fall in love with the car and at the negotiating stage they are probably willing to "meet them half way" and pay the additional fee. But I didn't like the deception and false advertising. To make matters worse, when I posted a review of my experience on Yelp, George responded with a personal attack on me for wanting to "low ball" him. I was perfectly willing to pay the advertised price, just not an additional fee. Who does that? Don't buy their BS low prices. If you see a for a used car on Southern California Preowned just add an additional $1,395 on top of it, so you have a better idea of what the real price is. I'll bet that makes the car you are looking for much higher than the average for similar cars on the market. Southern California Preowned is trying to trick you into coming into their lot. Don't let Southern California Preowned treat you as a sucker.
