Like all dealers, they talk up their vehicles as if they are the best available cream puffs on the used market. And I get it, they are in the business of selling cars. But having had many years myself in the parts business, dealership experience and working at an auto auction, I appreciate a bit of honesty when talking shop. We drove 6 hours to see a vehicle that was "one owner" only to find a sun burned and abused SUV that was a 'loaner' vehicle for a commercial body shop. I'd been communicating via phone and text and the guys knew I was looking for a gem for our family. Big disappointment. The vehicle was badly abused and had failing brakes, door seals shrunken and falling off, water damage on the interior, broken visors and jammed electrical running boards to name a few expensive problems. Minor wear and tear aside. Pictures can be so deceiving. The only positive was the engine was solid and mileage was close to advertised. They had some really awesome classic cars on the lot and I'm sure they'd work with a person to sell 'em a deal, but after being deceived regarding the vehicle I drove 3 states away for, I didn't bother to ask about the other cool cars sitting around. These folks have clearly been in business for many years in a small area and I'm sure they do fine regardless of my review. But I'm old fashioned and it really would have been awesome if I'd been told the vehicle I was driving to see had been a commercial vehicle and had OBVIOUS sun damage and needed new brakes. I could have saves myself $200 in traveling expenses.
