Texting was good. However, the car was bumped and needed repair. Was promised to be fixed in a week. I called in a week, car hadn't even been looked at. We bargain for car as is. Made appt for same day. 1.5 hrs before appt, texted & said they sold the car. Note, we did not put a deposit. But planned on buying the car. Oh well, that's business. First come, first serve.

The vehicle was a bit overpriced. It is a solid reliable SUV according to the independent mechanic that I took it to so he can inspect. Mechanic found minor issues so purchased the SUV.

There was only one salesperson there that knew anything about the cars. The other person didn't even know how to open the passenger doors and tried to send me on a test drive with no gas until I insisted they put some in the tank. The lever to pop the hood was sitting in the door pocket and the truck didn't pop up like it was supposed to. The car was shaking every time I approached 55mph. When I pointed out the issues they acted like it wasn't a big deal and they could "just have a mechanic look at it". The car had been sitting and in inventory a while so why not have it looked over and things taken care of before marking it "ready for sale". They were very dismissive when I offered a price and unwilling to even sit down to negotitate. VERY SHADY and just trying to get people to buy anything without due diligence.

I talked to a person named Gibran from his cell phone (from just outside Chicago). I made him an offer on the advertised 2014 Subaru Outback with 6 speed manual transmission that he was trying to sell. He told me he would get right back to me after he consulted his "supervisors" about my offer. I never heard a word from him from that day on. Not a phone call, not a text message, not an email.
