Alex and Willie were very helpful. Took my car right in to start on it. Alex went over the service history on my car and advised me of service needs. Facility was clean and comfortable with chairs, tables, wi-fi connection, reading material, coffee and water. My car was done on a timely basis, and price was reasonable.

The service was completed in a reasonable amount of time. However, I felt that the people at the desk were put out by my arrival when I entered the shop. Also, they couldn't find my appointment even though I had received an email confirmation. After searching the computer several ways they finally entered me as a new appointment. No apologies for the confusion or delay. During the service it was suggested that I need a new air filter as "they get pretty dirty after 20 or 30 thousand miles." My car has 17K miles. Pick up took a while as there was only one register with a credit card reader.

The Midas location in Grayslake IL is a new shop. It replaced a Goodyear service center that was in that location. I think they are still trying to work the kinks out while they startup the new service center. They appeared to be very disorganized. When my service was complete, the person that checked me out had no idea what service was performed on my vehicle and couldn't confirm if the brakes were inspected and the tires rotated. Hopefully they will get their act together once they have been operational for a while.
