The dealership was nice enough. My problem was the car fax listed minor damage. This was untrue it is much more than minor damage. It actually needs back quarter panel, rear bumper and a tail gate. Drove 180 miles so my faith in carfax would be 0 out of 10

This review must be in error because we wouldn't buy or offer a vehicle for sale that needs a back quarter panel, rear bumpr and a tailgate!

Very pleasamt. Salesman didn't follow me around and ask alot of stupid question. He didn't come to me until I waved at him for questions. He answered every question knowledgebly. All-In-All, in was a very pleasant experience. All salesman should follow his example.

Friendly workers but very few options for cheaper vehicles and everything has to be financed no in house payments not buy here pay here operation. Also the vehicles that carfax said were there are all in bodyshop.

Awful! Was there for 8 hours. Ran my credit like 12 different time lowering my score. I had gave them permission to only run three time. They ordered a social security card for me because I didn't have mine and put the wrong name on it!!
by Raymond Furr on 07/13/2024
We don't run credit because we are a cash lot. We only get funding through banks or credit unions. We wouldn't have any reason to order a social security card for a customer.
I think this review was sent in error!

Dealership wasn't willing to negotiate at all. I thought a small amount would be willing to show the vehicle dealership would negotiate since the vehicle has been in inventory quite awhile
by Raymond Furr on 07/13/2024
We put our best price on the internet. If we have had a vehicle in inventoy for "quite awhile", we update our prices monthly to keep them on the current market.

I checked vin with Kelly blue book and they showed car was not rated as high as sale price. They showe car worth $3,000 less so I didnt go to dealership
by Raymond Furr on 07/13/2024
Banks, credit unions, and dealers don't use Kelly Blue Book in or around the Lubbock area. It is more accepted on the west coast. J. D. Powers (formerly NADA) is more generally used and accepted in this area.

The company answered my inquiry in record time. Unfortunately the party I was wanting to buy the car for, was not interested in the particular SUV I inquired about.

Ended up purchase this car site unseen and car was emaculate. Was much better then I imagined. When I arrived the owner sat with me and we just talked while I waited for the vehicle to get done. They know there cars and from what I could tel when he was discussing a possible trade in with another individual he was adament to get a mechanic to look at it so he could get everything fixed before he resold the car.
I will be purchasing all my vehicles from here for now on. Great selection and top quality cars and people who car about you not just the sale.

Found the convertible weve wanted for about a year (2008 Toyota Solara SLE Convertible with 25,400 miles, and contacted the dealership at 1:30 am via the contact app on the Carfax site. Raymond Shorty Furr responded Sunday am. Back and forth emails confirmed vehicle, agreed on asking price, and scheduled to the dealership in Lubbock first thing the next day. We asked if a deposit was needed to hold the vehicle and Mr. Fire said no, hes hold it for us. We left at 6:30 am and drove from Santa Fe, NM, arrived at 1:15 pm Texas time. Mr. Furr had taken to his mechanic for one last check before we arrived and car was waitinf for us to test drive as soon as we arrived. We test drove for about 45 minutes and it was better than described. Dee was there to handle the transaction and both she and Shorty were friendly, funny, and a complete joy to interact with. During our time in the office, four different people were there to look at vehicles or firm up their purchases. It was a very busy place and Shorty was pleasant and took the time to talk to each person and gave them all the attention they needed. We were in and out in two hours and it was one of the most pleasant car purchases weve ever had. Furrs is the kind of small town dealership of the past. Excellent inventory, outstanding customer service, pleasant atmosphere, and great prices. We would purchase another vehicle from Furrs in Lubbock in the future before we would purchase from a local dealership in New Mexico.
