Made an appointment on Saturday; called two days later on Monday to double-check my appointment; and arrived at my appointment to find that the car was sold on Saturday (the day that I scheduled my appointment). Poor communication between CarBox team members resulted in me wasting 2 hours of my time.

The car they showed us was in an obvious state of disrepair. In the salesperson's own words, the suspension was "wanky". Even though the carfax report indicated a recent front-end alignment had been done, the steering wheel literally had to be pointed 90 degrees to the right to go straight. The car, which was originally equipped with 5 high-quality speakers, had all speakers blown out with only 1 center front, very tinny low-quality speaker working. The interior was smelly and every hard surface, including all switches, the dash, door handles, everything, felt greasy to the touch and left a black residue on your fingers. The car was listed at $4300 on the website when we made the appointment to go see the car. They raised the price online to $4800 by the next day when we showed up. The price never was discussed because once we saw the car we had no interest. After we left we got an email notice that the car had been further increased in price. I just now, a week and a half later, received a notification that they just lowered the price on the car. From $6600 to $6300. These people are unbelievable. Never again.
