I was told the car would be ready to look at when I arrived for an appointment. When I arrived at the dealership there was no one there. The car was packed away in the showroom in a very overly crowded parking lot. The car was missing pieces. Not very confidence inspiring.

This dealership is very misleading. Example- during a hypothetical conversation with sales rep Sal only offerering the most expensive extended warranty as well as him leading me to believe I have to put down 8,000.00 per Captial one when in fact per Captial one representative stated to me all paperwork that is needed by dealership to determine down payment hasn't been submitted to determine down payment and for me to inform them of such ! Well, guess what, did just that with a very clear explanation as to what captial one stated and never heard back from them. Don't waste your time with these guys! I guess they thought they saw me coming ! Sadly mistaken...

Car had multiple service lights on and had trouble accelerating. After test driving and realizing the car clearly had mechanical issues and voicing my concerns, I was berated for 20 minutes and told I wasnt thinking logically because I was stressed out. I wouldve been happy to look at other cars on the lot, but instead Joe immediately jumped to reminding me I had made a nonrefundable deposit on the car, essentially trying to insinuate I was already stuck with the car. I had issue with this, as the car was clearly not in the mechanical condition it was advertised to be and felt it was unfair to keep my entire deposit in this scenario. I understood they held the car for me for 5 days, hence being willing to relinquish a part of my deposit because I am an honest person. But this dealership wanted to keep a $1500 deposit on a $6000 used car. When i became clearly upset by this he changed tactics. He then told me that they had fixed ALL of the mechanical issues with the car in the 20 minutes that he spent berating me in his office, telling me that I needed to trust him that it was a good car. I have no idea what had transpired up to that point that made him feel he was inspiring trust, but i was disgusted and wanted to leave. In a time like this, to try and bully someone into purchasing a vehicle they dont feel safe in is deplorable. The world is already stressful enough without people like that lurking around the corner. He eventually agreed to refund $1000 of my deposit, but only after I insisted he contact the owner and then voiced my intention to wait for the owner to arrive. I waited a few days before reviewing, just to make sure I cooled off. but after what i experienced, the $1000 refund was simply not enough. This is a dishonest way of doing business and I encourage everyone to STAY AWAY from Automaxx LLC. NEVER again.
