They didn't follow the USC lawys in which credit can't be a determining factor when applying for credit as the banks technically can't lend money and by not following through with the transaction an inquiry went on my credit report

The salesman came to the table with a proposal asking for an initial $1,000 more than the advertised price, and then added another $8,000 worth of extras. I was told there was no allowance for negotiation, other than dropping the $2,100 service contract.

Hello David, after review your response, your review makes little to no sense. You claim we added over $8000 worth of extras on a (according to the vin listed on the review) 2015 Honda Civic. This math simply adding up, and while yes there are additional products available here at Adams Auto Group, they are 1) optional, and 2) in no which way shape or form would tally up even remotely close to $8000. Even if you where to add mandatories such as taxes and state fees for DMV on top of those optional products, it still would not even be in the same ball park of $8000. Furthermore, to tackle your claim of $1000 over the advertised price, this is not something we do here. Price online is the price you get in store, cut and dry. And finally yes, we do negotiate with our clients to meet there budgets, we are open to offers. Perhaps you misread or misheard David, as we here at Adams Auto Group are just not quite sure how this review came into place when we have so other reviews of happy clients that contradict your statements here.

Be wary going to this dealership in either Paterson or Little Ferry. Was interested in a 2016 BMW 750i the dealership advertised on Carfax.com. Called the dealership twice to confirm that the car was available, and at the Little Ferry location. Confirmed an appointment by text for an hour later. In fact, Ronald, at the Paterson location, told me by text (which I still have) to meet specifically with Greg, at the Little Ferry location. When I got to the dealership the car was available and I was very interested based on the look of the car, but Greg would not let me do a test drive unless I committed to financing. I did not know whether I was going to finance or pay by cash, and I certainly wasn't going to commit to either without driving the car. How bizarre. So there I was, interested in buying the car, but the dealership wouldn't let me test drive it. Greg made an excuse that he couldn't leave the dealership because there was no one else in the office, yet there were two female salespeople in the office who were clearly able to handle customers during the time I was there.
