Took 7 weeks to do a warranty repair on a $6k transmission rebuild. Gary, the manager, straight up told me the work on my auto was not a priority because it was "free". I appreciate honoring a warranty but being without my automobile for almost two months because I am considered low priority is despicable.

3 1/2 months and 400 miles on my odometer when I got my vehicle back. No consideration for client, no updates and consistently lying about when it will be ready. Overcharged me from what the receipt actually said. Car sat untouched at lot in same spot for 1 1/2 months. They WILL fix your car but who knows when. Aamco Corporate and lawyer had to get involved.

It too long to rebuild my transmission. My truck was there a month. I spoke to many certified mechanics and businesses. One month was excessive. Every time I called I was told they were making adjustments then the parts were bad. My truck was driven approximately 88 miles while it was in the shop.

Customer service was very bad (Awful). Never kept me updated on status of my truck. Bottom Line, my truck was not repaired after $7600. I would have to call once a week for an update. AAMCO had my truck for five weeks. I was initially told it would be one week if there were no issues and if there were it would be a few additional days. Information I did receive were vague or political explanations. I was told my transmission was trashed. However, GM just flushed the transmission three times with filter change. GM did not find any trash in the system. AAMCO told me an eternal pump failed and damaged the torque converter and planetary gears. I would have thought GM would have reported this with fluid and filter change. AAMCO also reported my transmission was very dirty. Somthing very fishy here. I have a lot more to say.....

Gary the manager required me to a maintenance test for $585 prior to any fluid changes. Kept my vehicle for over a week, was given an estimate over $3,776 and closed the phone on me twice when Irefused to pay. Was dishonest with amount as I investigated and researched and it was considerably less elsewhere by a reputable shop of the same caliber. I cannot understand how this shop is still running especially with their extremely exorbitant rates. The dishonesty and deception was very frustrating
