About Chrysler
Once a luxury brand that competed against the likes of Buick, Mercury, and Lincoln, Chrysler is now a small outfit with a slim lineup of vehicles. Chrysler is now one of five American brands under Stellantis.
Chrysler’s vehicles in the early 2000s were aimed at revitalizing the company. Vehicles such as the 300M, Crossfire, Prowler, and PT Cruiser were introduced to breathe some more life into the automaker. These vehicles existed alongside mainstays such as the Cirrus, Concorde, LHS, Grand Voyager, and Sebring. Over time, Chrysler has reduced the number of vehicles it sells to only a handful of options such as the Town & Country, 200, 300, and Pacifica.
Currently, the Pacifica minivan is Chrysler’s crown jewel, accounting for a large portion of its overall sales and being highly regarded as one of the better options in the minivan segment. Chrysler was also one of the first to introduce an electrified minivan with the Pacifica Hybrid, which is a plug-in hybrid.
Chrysler has been slow to expand its lineup and come out with new vehicles, but that’s set to change as the American automaker will be an all-electric brand by 2028. Its first all-electric vehicle will be the Airflow.
