They finally figured out the cause of the battery drain on my 17 Outback after 7 years and 5 batteries. I'm almost confident to drive somewhere without battery cables now. It had to do with the Starlink module that looked for a network to link to 24/7. It killed 5 batteries and my patience.

Had an alignment done on my car as I had just had four new Michelin tires put on earlier this week. Also had a new passenger side side-view mirror replaced because of discoloration of the mirror. The actual time for repair was longer than expected because of the need to have the mirror sent over from another location. However, all the work was done professionally, and the service department employees were very friendly and helpful.

First service for my Crosstrek, so I am comparing this service to my experiences with my Honda CR-V. The wait was reasonable: nice atmosphere and timely. I enjoyed the live video offered on how the "check-up" was going. My only reservation was a bit of a snafu when a service rep called to answer (a bit curtly, in my opinion) a couple of questions I asked online, then started to cancel the appointment, thinking that was all I wanted.

My daughter was driving our outback and felt a strong shaking from the car. We took it to the service department and they found that ice had developed around and along the driveshaft throwing it out if balance. They thawed the ice and made sure there was no other problems or damage before giving it back to drive home. Charging only the diagnostic fee.

This visit was for walser to fix a battery issue that arose after a routine oil change. Car died in a line, got it towed in. The whole situation was very inconvenient and stressful. No fault admitted but free of charge fix. Free fix included scuffing up the interior panel they worked on. But who cares about details like that. Not impressed with walser lately.

Walser's crew are always polite, tell me how long the wait will be, the cost of the service up front and have very comfortable waiting areas with snacks and televisions. The internet reception is great and there are tables and chairs where people can do their computer stuff.

the person who checked me in was extremely helpful, she had a mechanic come out and fix a loose piece of trim on my Subaru before I left. They also replaced a lug nut stud and lug nut that got messed up. Walter Subaru has been really good to me and I will defiantly make my next Subaru purchass from them!
