Initial contact from Maria Bell, told her I wanted to do email only and she said she'd have someone reach out. Never did. I sent 3 follow-ups, never heard a peer back. Car was still available on the website. I feel like having everything in writing spooked her. Stay away.

Maria Bell was part of our call center and failed to pass the inquiry on to our sales staff. This call center team has since been replaced. We certainly are not scared of putting anything in writing. We certainly were not "spooked".

When I got there on Monday, I was told the car had sold on Saturday, and was presented with a few other (more expensive, of course) options. I was also told that the value of my trade in depended on the car I picked. The salesman there was very nice, but I don't care for that kind of haggling. I ended up going somewhere with more straightforward pricing that didn't pull a bait and switch.

We are sorry you were not satisfied with your experience. However, we do not EVER "bait and switch." Our cars sell very quickly, especially if it is a good deal. Our website is updated within 24 to 48 hours to remove the sold vehicles as soon as possible, but when a vehicle is sold on a Saturday, it is not often removed until the following Monday because we are closed on Sundays. We due our best to update our inventory daily, but third-party sites such as CARFAX do not always update their inventory (including ours) as frequently.

Used Car Motor Mall was very responsive to my inquiries. This turned out to not be the right car for me, but they were upfront about the vehicle, the options, and the condition. Unprofessional appeared to me like it was very expensive on broken down vehicles that were out of price range that for the area. I did not like it at all. Had an appointment, the salesman called me to confirm and arrived early and still had to wait.

We are sorry you were not completely satisfied, but we have two locations less than 2 miles apart. Sometimes our vehicles move back and forth and it is rarely more than a 15 minute wait. We apologize that you had to wait for the vehicle, but we did not know you were coming. If we had known, we would have had the vehicle ready and waiting for you in advance. As for any paint done to the vehicle, from time to time minor damages or repairs are made as necessary. Our sales staff is not aware of every single thing done to recondition every vehicle.

I live in UT, the car is in MI. To purchase the car, I would also have to arrange transportation to UT- a significant amount. The car was almost $40,000.00, just about the maximum I could spend. I asked the salesman Jose, to consider a lower offer on the car because of this transportation issue. This was a cash sale and I was ready to buy that day. Jose absolutely refused to discuss a lower price- even by a dollar. He was speechless in fact, like he had never heard this concept before. I thought he was SUPPOSED to sell cars. So, I left a truthful, but negative review on the big G. I didn't say anything bad about Jose, only that he doesn't know how to negotiate, and he can go to he// for being useless. The coward who owns the place then demonstrated his stupidity by twisting facts and calling me names. This experience speaks for volumes for this dealership. A very poorly trained salesman and a childish owner who calls names and runs his big mouth without knowing the facts- what a miserable excuse for a wanna be tough guy. Places like this Moron Mall of Grand Rapids completely justify a persons hatred toward car dealers. I hope they all burn together. And if the punk owner tries to call me again I will contact law enforcement. These guys are nothing but liars and crooks.

This customer called from Utah about a 1982 Porsche we have for sale (we are located in Michigan). We informed him that our price was firm because it was already competitively priced. We were unwilling to reduce our price because we had already received a substantial amount of interest. Our sales person was cordial even though the customer insisted on a discount. Unfortunately, we could not reach a deal with this individual--this is something that happens every day in sales. Instead of simply accepting that our business was not interested in negotiating the price of it's vehicle, the customer rushed to Google and wrote a nasty review with profane language berating the sales staff and telling the owner to "FOAD" (even though he never spoke to him). The review was flagged and removed from Google for violating it's policies. We have nothing further to say to this individual, as he is now trying to post negative reviews on other websites. We are simply glad we had no further business with this individual and hope he gets help for whatever issues he is going through. We can assure anybody that reads this review that we were professional with this person in all of our dealings with him and he has simply gone off the deep-end because he didn't get what he wanted.
