BEFORE I went in for service, a simple wheel alignment, I took a video and photographs of the tires and tie rods. A WEEK out I make a 9 am appointment for a wheel alignment on a 2014 Lexus IS250 because Shreveport Lexus is 50 miles away and has terrible reviews and Dallas Lexus is a 300-mile round trip. I walk in a young lady says "can I help you?". I'm the only customer in sales or service in the entire place. I missed that red flag until reflection. I say I made a 9am appointment with AJ for a 9am alignment, (not a we will try fit you in appointment). She says "are you dropping it off or waiting? Isn't the point of making an appointment so you don't have to drop it off? I caught that red flag. It wasn't an engine rebuild or diagnosis it was an alignment, not on a wrecked 4x4 Hemi it is a luxury sports sedan in pristine condition. And I wasn't at a Dodge dealership or Chi chi's repair I was at a Toyota dealership with supposed factory certified technicians not goober from mayberry. I specifically tell her "I do NOT want a courtesy wash, brake pad, or fluid, etc. check of any type". She says OK. 8:45 I'm sitting outside on customer benches in the drop/pick up carport, instead of the windowless customer waiting room she directed me to, and I see my car pull off and go around the other side of the building. 9:30am, I see my car rip up 59 South. 9:40 am, I see it pull around the back of the dealership then rip into the last bay furthest from where I was and go up on a lift. I hear an air gun pulling off the wheels that I just torqued to Lexus specification and checked the tire pressure on, neither he did prior to supposedly aligning my vehicle, It appeared he was rotating the tires or checking my brake pads. IDK, why would he have the wheels of AFTER he supposedly aligned the wheels, makes zero sense. I was never kept apprised of what was going on, my car disappeared for an hour then AFTER was on a lift with the wheels off (which an alignment does NOT require) about that time the female service advisor I spoke with walked out, I said "Why is my car up on a lift? I specifically said do NOT do anything additional" She walked over and said "you're not going to talk to me that way" entitled employee post COVID attitude. Then said I'll go check, came back and said he was rotating the tires due to "them being cupped" and it's still pulling to the right, what you originally brought it in for" AFTER she told me he had completed the alignment. What she and he didn't know is I documented the tire condition and tie rod location. So somebody is lying and/or incompetent then tried to spin it on me like I was difficult customer. My Lexus is exactly as I brought it in still pulling to the right 4 plus hours and lots of frustration later. She said "no charge" and then did NOT give me any paperwork so I don't think an alignment was even done.
