Overall the actual dealership wasn't at fault to what actually happened to my vehicle, but the fact that the service advisor wasn't keeping in contact as much as I thought he should, with my car being there 4 months. But the day I finally got my vehicle back the manger David was very help and politely and nice. Overall I just think the communication was very poor throughout the process.

Going through an oil consumption process. Checked by mechanic and twice at Gerald. In addition to oil issue in 4 weeks time: Mechanic: you need new front breaks. Gerald visit 1: you need ALL new breaks. Gerald visit 2: you need break fluid. :-0. Who do you believe

I noticed that the site indicated my car was thoroughly checked and everything was in good condition. However, I knew a light was out, which makes me question whether a comprehensive inspection was performed. It would be helpful to understand the inspection process better. Thank you!

I appreciate Gerald's service team and have always gotten a very straightforward explanation from the tech advisors. This time around however I felt like I was recommended services that were more of a cash grab than actually needed. Alignment work every 15k? I agreed because I am just over 40k but in the future will go by the manual instead of the dealer's recommended services.

My Service Rep Greg Brown, is the reason #1 that I drive all the way from LaGrange Park to have my car serviced. Also, the entire staff is friendly, welcoming and take great care of my car. Gerald Kia really knows how to treat their customer's and it is always clean and inviting. Thank you for being so great!

I took my used car there for recall work. Everyone was nice and great customer service. The only concern was that they had parts for all of the recalls except for one so I will need to make another appointment when parts come in. I would definitely go back to this dealership for service.

I took the car in for a recent service recall on the brake lines. Without approval, they went ahead and replaced the rear brake pads and rotors. The initial charge was for more than six hundred dollars. Even though they brought the charge down to $100 upon complaint, I believe the service department made a mistake and refused to own up to it.

Did a Major 60K Service on 31st August. It was very expensive. 2 issues noticed, and reported to the Service manager. was asked to come the following day to get it checked. however the following day even after leaving the car for 5 hours, noting was checked. and they never respond back to calls , voice mails nor keep an commitment. i have to got local mechanic to get one critical problem fixed with the break lights.

This dealership service department has gone downhill had a part ordered in January...told it was.. backordered..come to find out it was actually DISCONTINED. No followup at all. went to dealership to have a recall taken care of..all they wanted to do was sell a hundred dollar oil change that was not due ....

Overall the service seems to have gone well, however, one of the hoses in the engine bay wasn't properly resecured and became loose causing an engine light warning. I was able to reattach it fairly easily, however, it's made me a bit nervous about the rest of the work that was performed.

I always receive excellent service when I take my car in for an oil change etc. Everyone has always been very nice. They are fast at getting your vehicle in and out of the shop. And I love their free wash, no spots!!! I find them to be honest and trustworthy. No issues at all.
