2010 MAZDA MAZDA6
Nice car for the price, drives nicely, but not great on gas mileage. 21-22mpg is what I'm getting for mostly city driving.

I just purchased this vehicle, but it seems like everything I was looking for in an under $5k vehicle with high mileage (160k). Mazda 6, or a midsize sedan, has lots of elbow and leg room even though you wouldn't know it from it's outward sporty appearance. With ABS and Traction Control standard it handles like a dream. I have the 4 cyl model and it has plenty of pickup. The 5 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly in a smart intuitive style I've never experienced before. A wonderful driving experience. I highly recommend this car.

We have had the Mazda 5 now for a month and love it! We went with a 5 speed 4cylinder. It has plenty of pep and gets great gas mileage. All of the 6 cylinders we looked at seemed "raged out". It seemed like the owners had driven them harder. We also looked at the Mazda 3 but the Mazda 6 seemed a little more solid!

I'm a travelling salesman and easily do 150+ miles in a day. I previously used a 2001 Honda Accord LX that was highly reliable (never gave me engine problems during almost 2 years of heavy use) but very sluggish and outdated. I wanted to start driving for Uber so was looking for a newer car when I saw this Mazda 6S i with 59k, salvage title for 8,900.00. The right side had been smashed onto a guard rail so it had all new suspension, doors/panels/etc. on that side which is why it was so cheap. I love how it drives. it feels big but handles very well and has great pickup. A lot of reviews I've read said it had very sporty handling and it does. The engine and tranny have good power and it doesn't feel like it's straining ever. I drive very fast and aggressively lots of lane changing, speed up slow down, etc. and it responds and purrs right through it. There are very few things I don't like about itx those include, high center of gravity, upholstery fabric shows dirt/spills way too easily and is harder to clean, dash lights are all in red so it looks like a million warning lights all the time. I honestly don't count my gas mileage that much so I can't give an opinion about that. I drive it for Uber and have gotten a lot of compliments on it and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quality midsized sedan.
Higher feeling center of gravity
Weird upholstery fabric

Bought this car for my 16 year old daughter 2008 with low miles. It is perfect for a fully loaded starter car. The size is perfect.
