2001 DODGE DAKOTA
Needed a larger Truck. For all around general hauling,to pull utility trailer. Good power, comfort, ease of getting in and out of, for a 4x4. When looking for a Dodge Dakota, condition is everything.

2001 DODGE DAKOTA
I got the 5.9 auto quad cab. Great headroom, good power, very nice creature comforts for the year. Will haul everything I would need it for and can tow a car trailer. Gas mileage isn't the best. Average is 16mpg hwy but I didn't buy it for the mileage. I would definitely recommend this truck to anyone.
2000 DODGE DAKOTA
The 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 that I purchased about a month ago has been possibly the best vehicle I've ever driven, and had the chance to own. The 5.9L Magnum Port Injected V8 provides ample power for any condition, and when driven conservatively, gets fairly decent mileage. This truck being a 4x4, with the 5.9, still goes like stink. put Flowmaster Force II exhaust on the truck last week, gives it a very nice low tone without being obnoxious. The interior is one of the quietest I've driven or ridden in as a passenger, and is in my opinion, much quieter than an equal year Honda Odessey. Folding rear seats make for an incredible amount of storage space for a smaller truck. The seats themselves are VERY comfortable, and are the type to support long trips without back/butt pain. The stereo in my truck had all four speakers blown, so I can't acurrately review the stereo, but my aftermarket speakers with the factory deck sound amazing. My one complaint is that the truck clunks into reverse quite loudly, not sure why, but I'll be getting it checked out.
1997 DODGE DAKOTA
Bought this as a foul weather/weekend vehicle. It's been solid so far, starts easily in the cold weather and performs great on icy roadways, including hills.
2004 DODGE DAKOTA
Somone rearended by daughters 2002 Dakota and it was totaled out. She loved her truck so set out to find another. we need four wheel drive and wanted more cab space, but wanted the old styling. So as usual I set out to make my daughter happy. We found a 2004 Dodge Dakota club Cab SXT. We found it through Craigs list...CarFax helped me get comfortable with this private purchase.
2008 DODGE DAKOTA
I bought this vehicle, a 2008 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab 4x4 with 4.7L V8, at a dealership a few weeks ago.It has 78K on the odometer, and is immaculate inside and out. The term "Buyer's remorse" barely describes how I am feeling right now. I originally wanted a used RAM Quad cab with the Hemi, the quiet interior and the nice ride... The 4.7L Dakota I settled on is simply underpowered - which is odd because it gets abysmal gas mileage (a trade-off I would have happily made for the Hemi-powered RAM). The Dakota's interior is cheap and has that "plasticky look everywhere you look. The ride is stiff and reveals every bump in the road. How the ride can be this much worse than the RAM is beyond me. If you are considering buying this model my advice is to do an extended (minimum of a weekend) test drive and get to know the look and feel of the truck. Trust me. your typical test drive with the salesman asking "qualifying questions" the whole time won't be enough to gauge whether you can live with this truck.
