2014 DODGE JOURNEY
This car is by far the nicest one I have ever owned, even if it does have the steering wheel on the wrong side :). The fun starts with the push-button start, active as long as the key is inside the car, or at least in the very near proximity. It continues with the digital display of the current speed, so much easier for my brain to digest when I am in traffic.
To someone who NEVER listens to the radio while driving, the stereo is awesome. I have plugged a 32GB flash drive into the USB plug buried out of the way in the centre console, and now enjoy my collection of the 100 greatest hits for every year from 1972 to 1982. The seats are soft and comfy. The back seats have a great drop-down arm rest that is almost a mini-bar in itself (feels like it anyway).
In the rear compartment, the easily removable floor gives access to either an out-of-sight hiding place or somewhere to keep the cold and frozen foods out of the sun, or even just to most shopping in there to stop it sliding around.
Performance is good. Definitely not a race car, but does get up and go when needed. This one does not some of the optional extras like auto headlights or daytime lights, but even so, it is a well thought out car and a pleasure to own and drive.
