2013 NISSAN LEAF
Bought it because it was a cheap lease return (Leaf resale value is bad) and because I was already familiar w/Leaf as I was nearing returning my 2013 Leaf SV w/both packages (premium & quick charge (CHAdeMO inlet) + LED headlight). Bought a '13 Leaf SV w/only premium package (Bose stereo + Around View Monitor (4 cameras)). I didn't really need the CHAdeMO inlet as there are few free ones around in the SF Bay Area. The rest are too expensive to use, besides sometimes being broken.
Many Leafs are being returned at end of 2 or 3 year lease, due to buyout (residual) price being too high, even after Nissan's offering multi-thousand $ discounts. If you buy an EV, do have realistic expectations of range (EPA ratings of 73 to 84 miles on a charge for 2011 to 2015 Leafs, depending on model year and this is on a new battery).
Batteries will degrade over time and more in hot climates. Visit www.mynissanleaf.com for Leaf advice and do your research first re: degradation, charging, range, limitations, etc.
If you get the light interior, keep in mind it's hard to keep the fabric surfaces clean.
