2013 ACURA MDX
Excellent ride for our long distance trips. Visibility is good. Roomy for passenger comfort. Ample luggage space for 5 suitcases +. Navigation system is great. Voice commands are relatively hard to use, not intuitive. Need for premium gas pricey. Overall very happy with the auto.

2013 ACURA MDX
Purchased a 2013 MDX with Tech and Entertainment from private owner. The car had 6500 miles, it was in show room condition. So far the car has met all of my expectations. It appears to be the perfect SUV. Very good handling, excellent brakes, good power, lux interior, comfortable, glove soft seats and room for up to seven. It is a bit wider than it looks, so my wife has some difficulty getting it into the section of garage that has the 8 foot door. Also, the black color is very beautiful when clean (which unfortunately is not too often) but it is very difficult to find a used car in perfect condition so I went with it. For about the same price I strongly considered a new Toyota Highlander. In the end the more sporty nature and considerably more opulent interior of the MDX won us over. Also, we considered the Infiniti JX35, another nice SUV, but the power was kind of disappointing. Lastly, the reliability was a factor. Both Toyota and Infiniti are new designs so I felt that the Acura had the edge there. We also own a 2004 Honda Pilot (now donated to my teenage daughter) with 265K on the OD and never any issues so we kind of felt safe sticking with a Honda product.
