2010 VOLKSWAGEN GTI
Over all very fun car to drive. Car is known for falling apart after 4-5 years. Flaws include headliner, control arm bushings, cam phaser for timing chain (2010 only, will cause catastrophic engine failure), and tire noise due to cupping. I liked my DSG transmission because of its quick and flawless gear change and M/T characteristics. My car also had a stage 2+ APR tune (intake, tune, exhaust) which really woke the car up and performed well! Engine reliability was good; I had a intake manifold flapper failure, and a coil pack failure. I would say great bang for the buck. My reason for 3 starts is because of the interior falling apart even though it was very well taken care of and the amount of bushings that go bad in the front end along with frequent axle boot replacements (about every 60,000 miles). I traded my car in at 62,000 for another Ford truck.
