Launched in 2014, the Kia Cadenza is a full-size sedan that offers a satisfying array of luxury amenities. It provides roomy accommodations, a pleasant ride quality and a premium cabin.

2017 to Present: Kia Cadenza

Kia launched the second generation of the Cadenza for 2017. It’s a step up from the outgoing model, offering an improved ride quality that is more forgiving on rough pavement. The car's cabin also benefits from upgrades that give the interior an even more high-end look.

The Kia Cadenza is a full-size sedan that seats five passengers. Its sheet metal has a solid and substantial look, with elegant lines and an upscale appearance. In front, the Cadenza's sleek grille is bordered by sloping headlights, and it rides on standard 18-inch alloy wheels. LED tail lamps brighten the sedan's rear fascia.

The Cadenza is motivated by a 3.3-liter V6 that generates 290 horsepower, and the engine is matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All Cadenza sedans are front-wheel drive.

Like most full-size sedans, the Kia Cadenza delivers driving dynamics that are tuned for maximum comfort. The car's suspension ably keeps road-surface bumps and harshness out of the cabin. The Cadenza provides a choice of drive modes: Normal, Eco and Sport. Sport mode quickens the car's reflexes and delivers crisper acceleration, while Eco mode is designed to enhance fuel efficiency.

The Cadenza's cabin is spacious and plush, with impressive materials quality and an eye-pleasing design. Both rows offer lots of legroom, and the cabin is quiet even on the highway. The front seats are comfortable and supportive, and the driver's seat offers the adjustments needed to optimize your experience behind the wheel.

Kia's Cadenza offers amenities that are on par with those offered by top luxury cars. All models are equipped with leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats. Standard technology amenities include Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, Bluetooth and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The list of available features includes LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, quilted leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and a premium stereo system.

The current crop of full-size sedans includes strong picks like the Toyota Avalon, Chevrolet Impala and Chrysler 300. The Kia Cadenza stands apart from the pack, thanks to its outstanding value and impressive luxury.
