The troubleshooting re: the oil leak from engine. I was taken back in the garage and shown the problem and the action plan was explained clearly to me. I got an estimate about how much each of the fixes would cost. I appreciate that so I can plan on this expense in the near future..

Techs were knowledgeable and engaging. Disappointed in limited options. I can't justify spending $3200 on a vehicle that's >20yrs old with ~300K miles. I was hoping for a patch without the cost of removing the manifold. Understand that there is less in it for you and there would be no guarantees. Still respect and recommend based on standard garage work

It's a tough call, and we always aim to look at every possible alternative to help our customers make informed decisions. In your case, we did consider other approaches, but unfortunately, anything short of properly addressing the issue which required manifold removal wouldn't have met the quality or safety standards we hold ourselves to. We never want to push a costly repair that doesn't make sense for a vehicle's overall condition, and we appreciate you recognizing that our recommendations are grounded in what's best for long-term reliability. I received a timely and thorough oil change and detailed diagnostic of my car. I was shown both my engine and cabin filters and given the option to replace them. $162 diagnostic fee and that price wasnt upfront. They called to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle and quoted $1,600 to replace rear brakes and rear shocks. I said I cant afford that and would like to pick up my vehicle. I was told I couldnt pick my vehicle up until the following day because it was up in the air and all the technicians went home.

They tried to sell us new struts and another service said they were not needed. They are always trying to pressure you into buying more repairs than is needed. I feel they probably do good work but the deception will make us go elsewhere for service.

The cost to replace the battery was way over what online average quotes for this service, for this make and year car, in this area; more than twice as much! They insisted that the bumper had to be removed even though there is ample evidence on-line to show otherwise. I thought I could trust them but no more.
