About Polestar
Initially, Volvo used the Polestar name to signify its sporty cars, similar to what BMW does with M or Mercedes-Benz with AMG. More recently, the name has been repurposed to signify Volvo’s separate brand of electrified vehicles, including some options that have punchy performance. The first vehicle that debuted under the Polestar name was the Polestar 1, which was a coupe with a plug-in hybrid powertrain making 619 horsepower. The exotic grand tourer was only made for two model years and was discontinued in 2021. After the plug-in hybrid Polestar 1, Polestar switched its focus to being an all-electric brand with the Polestar 2 sedan. Polestar has large plans in store to introduce more electrified vehicles in the future. The upcoming Polestar 3 will be the automaker’s first electric SUV and will be followed by the Polestar 4 that will be a coupe-inspired version. Of course, Polestar is also looking to introduce high-performance EVs within the next few years. The brand debuted the Polestar 6, which will become its first convertible EV and newest halo vehicle, as well as the stylish Polestar 5 hatchback. Just like parent company Volvo, Polestar is known for its stylish exterior designs, incredibly comfortable seats, and advanced safety features. Polestar’s vehicles also feature Google’s Android Automotive OS infotainment system that’s meant to mimic a smartphone and be more intuitive to use than a traditional infotainment system.Polestar Body Styles For Sale
