Fisker Karma ReviewsAbout Fisker
After a hiatus of roughly a decade, Fisker has plotted a return to the automotive market in the U.S. with new all-electric vehicles. The automaker’s first vehicle was the Karma, a plug-in hybrid four-door sports car that showcased how efficient vehicles could have a sporty design and a luxurious interior. The Karma was introduced in 2012 and only survived for a single model year, as Fisker went out of business shortly after. In 2016, the automaker returned as Fisker Inc., an all-electric brand looking to introduce relatively affordable EVs with bold designs and upscale interiors. Fisker has recently introduced its first new product, the Ocean SUV, which is scheduled to be followed soon by the subcompact Pear SUV, Alaska pickup truck, and Ronin supercar in the near future. Like on the discontinued Karma, Fisker is looking to integrate solar panels into its vehicles for extra range. The automaker will also utilize sustainable materials and vegan-friendly synthetic leather for its interiors, while Fisker’s sale method of offering an open-ended lease program without a fixed term length is another innovative strategy.
