About Aston Martin
Aston Martin has gained fame for being the vehicle of choice for Britain’s most iconic secret agent, 007. Off the big screen, Aston Martin is known for making high-performance vehicles with luxurious interiors and British elegance. Since its inception, sports cars have been Aston Martin’s main focus, though the brand has expanded to new body styles. The 2002 model year saw the introduction of the V12 Vanquish, which arrived as Aston Martin’s flagship sports car. Another V12-powered sports car arrived in 2005 with the DB9, while the V8-powered 2006 V8 Vantage saw the brand introduce a more affordable entry-level model. By 2010, Aston Martin was looking to grow its lineup with vehicles such as the DBS, which was a sportier version of the DB9; a V12-powered Vantage with the V12 Vantage; and the Virage. Looking to appeal to more buyers, Aston Martin introduced the Rapide, a large luxury car, in 2010, and the sporty Rapide S in 2014. The Vanquish nameplate returned in 2014 as a reinvented sports car for the modern era, and the DB11 arrived as the replacement to the DB9 in 2017. The brand also introduced its first SUV with the DBX in 2020 and a new sports car with the DB12 for 2024. Modern-day Aston Martin hasn’t changed much, as the automaker sells the Vantage, DBS, track-oriented Valkyrie, DB12, and DBX. As a small automaker with a limited lineup, Aston Martin doesn’t sell any electrified vehicles. The brand continues to stick with V8 and V12 engines, most of which come from Mercedes-AMG. The upcoming Valhalla supercar, however, will be the automaker’s first plug-in hybrid offering.Aston Martin Body Styles For Sale
