All about the 2nd row captains chairs!
"If it was stolen tomorrow, I'd catch a ride to the GMC dealership and immediately buy another. It's that good. Can't rave enough about the 2nd row captains chairs with space in-between for accessing the 3rd row. I pile 5-6 teenagers in this thing on a regular basis and it's roomy enough for everyone (and their gear). It's powerful enough to pull my (sizable) sailboat, which is also a bonus. My only gripe is that the driver control screen (audio, navigation) is mid-dash rather than being up closer to the windshield--you have to divert your eyes from the road briefly to look closely at the screen. Honestly, that (and the gas mileage) are the only real shortcomings. But it's well worth the tradeoff. "
I purchased this vehicle solely because of the 2nd row captains chairs, which allow easy access to the 3rd row--just like a minivan (without having to OWN a minivan!). But after buying it I came to love it for many more reasons. It's AWD, so amazing in the snow. It holds 7 people comfortably but drives like a (very nice) car. And it's incredibly comfortable inside.
Great styling. It doesn't look or drive big (like the Yukon) but it has a ton of space inside. It's also just a nice-looking vehicle--especially with the addition of running boards.
Fantastic. Drives much more like a car than a SUV. My only gripe is the gas mileage, which isn't great...in part because I have the AWD model.
The optioned version has dual sunroofs, DVD player, rear AC and audio controls. But far more important, thanks to the 2nd row captains chairs, everyone can climb into the back seats without flipping any seats up/around to access the 3rd row. I can't believe more car makers haven't jumped on this bandwagon--it's an awesome feature. I traded my 1-year-old Honda Pilot for this vehicle because of the inability for young kids to access the 3rd row without an adult to help.
It's a fairly expensive vehicle to purchase, mostly because it's quite well-made. Fuel cost is also a consideration--the AWD version is thirsty.

"This vehicle is exactly what we were looking for. We had been checking out Acadias at other locations, but when we drove this one, we knew this was the one. It is a 2011, but it looks and handles just like a newer model. Our salesman was very professional and made the whole buying process easier!"
The outside of our Acadia Denali is as nice as any newer models we have seen. The white diamond color is what attracted us.
Our son could not believe the age of this suv, as the interior is as good as new. It has been well managed.
Family Friendliness
We love that we can accommodate our son, his wife, their 2 children plus ourselves and luggage for any family trip.
Cost Effectiveness
This vehicle is a bit larger than our trade-in however the gas mileage is extremely better.
This vehicle has great power for getting out on the highway. It has a smooth ride and a quiet engine with almost no road noise.

"Bought it as CPO from dealer. Price was OK, but the car was originally bought and serviced from same dealer and was in mint condition. I needed a car that would seat at least 6 and tow at least 4500 lbs,.That leaves very few choices outside of the body on frame vehicles."

"We bought this Car new in 2010 and put 91,000 Highway miles on it prior to trading it for a new Infinity. It ruined us for any additional General Motors' Manufactured Autos. This Model has really good space, a comfortable ride, and good power for a V-6 with acceptable mileage of 22-24 MPG Highway. The problems were in maintenance and repairs. The first month we owned the Vehicle, it was in the Shop three (3) Weeks w/ a Manufacturers defect in the right, rear torsion bar in the suspension. The Engine Compartment had a loud "whine" which the Dealer's Service Mgr. stated was "normal" and I found the Power Steering Reservoir was empty after receiving the Car back from the Dealership. The Rear Lift Gate collapsed on my Wife's head when the Hydraulic Motor failed and had to be replaced. All-in-all, I would not recommend the Acadia to anyone, new or used."
