The dealership wanted around $900.00 to replace the HFM on my UnConnect System, which I think is pretty steep. My warranty did not cover my UnConnect System. So I left them with a nonworking Bluetooth. A day later a get a call fro a lady at the dealership demanding my email address in order to send me so called coupons. When I refused to give her my email address, she hanged the phone up in my face. So I called the dealership and gave them a piece of my mind.More

Jeep manufacturer requires dealerships to replace the steering column in the 2006 jeep liberty when the acuator pin breaks. The symptoms of the broken actuator pin are that the jeep won't start when exposed to hot outdoor temps. If your battery, cables, starter, and solenoid all check out to be good and your jeep won't start when it's hot outside then it's most likely the actuator pin has broke off. The dealership will charge you around $1,309.10 to replace the steering column or you can buy the actuator pin at your local auto zone for $39.00 and fix it in just a couple hours (if that). I chose Auto Zone and saved a lot of money. Jeep should recall this actuator pin! What a rip off!!!More
