Worst Customer Service EVER
David Stanley needs to remove their slogan our commitment to customer service is second to none. On Monday 7/23, two 2008 Saturn Vue's were posted for sale on their website. I submitted an online inquiry of my interest and received an email response from Erik Hill - Internet Sales Mgr. I then set a date of Thursday 7/26 to come in to see / test drive both cars with Erik. On Thursday at 9:15 a.m. I received a text from Aaron Stephenson - Used Car Mgr, and scheduled a time to visit with him for 11 a.m.. I arrived at 11:05 a.m. and waited. Then Erik Hill came out to greet me, only to inform me both Saturn's were already sold. Amazing that between the Used Car Manager Aaron Stephenson, who contacted me less than 2hr before I arrived, and Erik Hill - Internet Sales who was emailing me, neither one took the time nor had the courtesy to contact me and advise BOTH vehicles were no longer available. Also amazing is both cars were still available on both the David Stanley website and Carfax site earlier that same morning of my appt. So due to their deceptive marketing and total lack of customer service I wasted my time and gas driving 40 miles round-trip only to be told BOTH cars were sold once I arrived. Seriously??? This is what they consider their commitment to customer service is second to none? Before I left the dealership I called to speak to the owner by phone, only to be told (after a significant wait) he was miraculously out of the building and no idea when he would return. On Friday, 7/27 late evening, I posted my complaint on the David Stanley website and specifically requested a reply from the owner and not Aaron or Erik. I received an automated reply from Erik Hill that he will follow up. and the complaint was promptly removed from the site. Whether Mr Stanley is aware of this situation I do not know. However, I have all the emails and text messages to backup what I stated above. As of date 8/02/18 I've heard nothing from the dealership. So much for a commitment to customer service second to none!More

terrible experience
The ones that price the cars must not communicate with the salespeople. I called about a car, and asked if I drove the 2 1/2 hours to the dealership, and decided I wanted the car, they would take a certain price. I was told no they would not go that low. Within a few days they price on the same car on the Carfax website was lowered to less that they had turned down. I called the same salesman with which I had been talking to by phone to make sure the vehicle in question was still available. He said that it was still available. I told him I was starting to OKC right then. I went through Edmond to pick up my brother to drive one of the cars. When I got there the salesman said he would get the keys. He went back and forth in front of the little room where we were waiting a couple of times saying that he was having trouble finding the keys. After about 30 minutes he finally told us that the car had been sold, and was gone from the dealership. I was out about 6 hours of time. My brother was out about 2 hours. I was out the fuel and the cost of 2 meals because the salesman did not check to see if the vehicle was still available. I have a very bad taste in my mouth for David Standley, and would never trust anything that I was told by their salesman. I wound up buying an almost identical vehicle for a few dollars less from a dealership in Kansas.More

The reason I returned for repairs was for carelessness on the first encounter. To make a very long story shorter, was my mom's car was taken to David Stanley for warranty work. However, the shop entered the wrong VIN #, making it appear on Carfax that my car was never serviced. I find on Carfax no record of warranty work done on my car. I return to have the records corrected. While correcting records with another service....the dealer ENTERS THE WRONG MILEAGE on the ticket! 10k more mileMore

After purchasing this vehicle they say they washed the detailed the vehicle. However; the floor mats were still grassy and dust all over the dash. They literally sprinkled water on the outside and that was it. No scrubbing. Very poor service all around. Even the sales/finance department.More
