Stereotypes exist for a reason.....
Went to test drive the 2006 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited they had listed on Carfax, (and still have listed, btw). Prior to the test drive, the salesperson stated that he needed to add radiator fluid first. Not the most unusual thing in the world, but you'd think a dealer would have prepped his merchandise beforehand. So it came as little surprise when, during the test drive, the temp guage began climbing... and climbing...and climbing... until finally it hit red-line and the car completely shut down. 3 times. In normal day time traffic. I couldn't even get the vehicle to limp back to the dealershihp with the heat on, and the salesperson had to come pick me up and have the car towed. And, as per the salesperson, other potential buyers had experienced the same, (obvioulsy unresolved), issue with the car on a previous test drive. There was no follow up from the owners, nor so much as an apology for wasting my time. I would have been open to some kind of negotiation. I'm not holding my breath on that issue.More

Pictures are deceiving
Well the car didn't look like the picture. The female car sales person (Katrinia) or something like that had no clue how to operate any of the functions on the car. It was dirty on the outside, no gas at all (had to have an associate ride with me to the gas station) which by the way this was the best part of the the experience. His name was Daniel and he was super nice and very informative. Part of the dash was broke and just laying in the space for it, knobs were missing from the controls, the rear a/c wouldn't go below the fan speed if high, I was also informed not to open and shut the sunroof to much because these things can possibly get stuck (red flag there). When we returned from the test drive I informe her of all that was wrong and she says to me So your not buying the car? When I said not this one she totally dismissed me and acted like I wasn't even there, Thank God for Daniel because he answered the rest of my questions. I then asked to see another one they had on the website and she said no because it wasn't inspected yet which I found out later was a lie. Did I mention I drove about an hour and 45 minutes for all of this. My recommendation is if you go there deal with the gentlemen named Daniel, he was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and was super honest and nice. Needless to say I didn't but anything from them.More

Disappointing
I called to ask if the Ford F-150 I saw on Carfax was still available, and was told it was. I said Id be there the next afternoon. When I arrived, the dealer left me sitting in the office for about a half hour while she went to get it. As soon as I started driving the truck, I discovered that the air conditioning was blowing hot air. I returned to the dealership and said that this is unacceptable. She said that if probably just needs refrigerant. Please. They didnt care enough to check something as basic as the AC ahead of time, and on top of that, I had to wait a half hour to drive this disappointing vehicle.More
