I bought the frs based in part on carfax guarantee. So far I am enamored by the car, I absolutely love it. If anyone is looking for a practical sports car the frs fits the bill, the monogram edition provides all the options one could hope for!
Love the positive feel of the gearbox, clutch, throttle, and steering (would never guess it's electrically assisted). Suspension is well damped, yet comfortable on all but roughest roads. Wind noise is minimal.
Engine has adequate low end torque for subdued, around town driving; but pulls willingly and smoothly into the higher rpms where it begs to be used in a spirited manner.
Although it won't win any drag races, the car is eminently tossable and well balanced, especially with TC and VSC disabled. A precision tool for the twisties, it enables (and rewards) wise line selection, braking and steering finesse, and early throttle application on corner exit.
Seats are comfortable with excellent lateral support. Climate controls are simple and effective. Reasonable cargo carrying capacity with rear seats folded.
Like a poor man's Lotus, the FR-S is lightweight and nimble, a true driver's car for those who embrace the art. More so, it's sufficiently comfortable, reliable, utilitarian, and economical for daily driver duty.
