1995 NISSAN ALTIMA
With 140,000 the car has no mechanical or electrical problems. I continue to do preventative maintenance so that the car will continue to provide me with excellent driving. My only wish is that it was a six speed automatic. The car runs 3,000 RPMs when hitting 80 mph so gas is hitting harder than I would like, but the car still saves a lot of gas.
2005 NISSAN ALTIMA
I bought this car in 2006 at a used car dealer. It had around 30K miles on it at the time.
We wanted a car that was roomy for a family, but not audacious.
Our Altima has been incredibly reliable, is a really smooth ride, is the perfect size for us, looks great, and even has quite a bit of pick up for a 4 cylinder.
I've taken really good care of it, and a few things have need replacement. But for having the car for nine years, it has been a really low amount of maintenance and it's not costly relative to a luxury car.
I'll also say I'm glad I bought the Altima over the Maxima. It's as roomy, but lighter and less expensive. I've driven a Maxima and prefer the Altima.
It's the best car I've bought, especially for the price.
1999 NISSAN ALTIMA
I bought this car for my daughter. The cars runs and drives very well. The only issue we had was a load sqeaking noise coming from the hub caps. I repaired this by placing rubber O rings under the plastic bolts that hold them in place. Worked like a charm, no more sqeaks.
